Where health and technology meet
MedTech Wallonia's main mission is to strengthen the links between the various players involved in Medical Technologies (MedTech) and to create synergies to develop this essential pillar of the economy and entrepreneurship in Wallonia and Belgium.
Our aim is to become the reference platform for MedTech projects, based on the roadmap drawn up in 2023 by Deloitte, at the request of the BioWin and MecaTech clusters and financed by Willy Borsus, Walloon Minister for the Economy.
We are currently laying the foundations needed to consolidate the value chains of an ambitious and diversified sector, while creating a framework favourable to the growth of our companies, in close collaboration with the needs of the field.

Establish IIS governance and participate in the S3 dynamic.
Promoting the network and the industry.
Facilitating companies' access to European funding.
1. Create a ‘one-stop shop’ to support Medtech companies and players, from ideation to market access.
2. Structure the Walloon Medtech ecosystem and strengthen all the links in its value chain.
3. Facilitate collaboration between the Medtech sector and healthcare players to develop and accelerate innovation.
4. Support access to targeted funding at all stages of development
5. Develop and train the sector's talent
