The Operational Directorate-General for Economy, Employment and Research (Direction générale opérationnelle de l'Économie, de l'Emploi et de la Recherche - DGO6), acting under the authority of Wallonia public service, is the legal administration in charge of funding applied research for new technologies and energy for industries, academia and research centers, as well as for related international scientific cooperation. It is therefore the key advisory organ for regional authorities involved in innovation and research policy.
