The added value of WSL is its team! The business coaches (BUCs) are located all around Wallonia and have particularly comprehensive profiles, blending backgrounds in specialized engineering and entrepreneurship. In their day-to-day work, they combine their know-how of the local landscape with their sectoral expertise. Each BUC is knowledgeable about their colleagues' projects and can step in while maintaining complete confidentiality.

WSL's core business is to assist tech entrepreneurs at every stage of their project, from the company launch to its growth phase, by maximizing their chances of success through trusted and close support for up to five years.

The support starts with an assessment of the project (or of the start-up of less than five years old) by WSL (and at its own cost) based on four well-defined fields: the intellectual property, the market, the technology and the quality of the team. Positioned within MatMaX®, this assessment provides a global overview of the project readiness and helps identify the strategic axes to develop and consolidate.

MatMaX™, available for download on Android and the App Store, is a tool for tracking product readiness. It serves as the guiding framework for the collaboration between tech entrepreneurs and their BUC. Wiskli is the WSL community's platform for sharing and finding content. This platform provides access to all material and immaterial resources of WSL.

For Wallonia, it is paramount to launch and develop long-lasting businesses within its territory. In this way, more than 70,000 m² have been built or are under construction to accommodate productive activities, ensuring long-term local activity.

WSL's agility enables it to meet the ever-evolving needs of tech entrepreneurs. Over time, WSL has launched pilot projects which have turned into boosters, each time with the aim of speeding up company launch and/or growth. These boosters are either thematic (Healthcare, GreenTech, Industry 4.0) or cross-cutting (engineering students, sales).
